The agent of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has denied speculation linking the player to Spanish side Real Madrid.

Verratti has been linked to a number of European clubs, most recently Real, but his agent Donato di Campli has said that so far no club has made contact with PSG.

"First of all I would like to deny reports that I am in Spain at the moment," Sky Sports News quotes Di Campli as saying.

"There is nothing with Real Madrid, also because whoever wants Marco will have to firstly go and negotiate with PSG. Right now there are too many rumours doing the rounds about him.

"The only thing that matters today is that Marco remains calm and ends his season in France in the best possible manner."

Verratti was recently handed a two-match ban for his sending-off against Evian TG.
