Athletic Bilbao boss Jose Angel Ziganda has admitted that he 'has no idea' if Kepa Arrizabalaga recently travelled to the Spanish capital to undergo a medical with Real Madrid.
Reports in Spain have claimed that Kepa, 23, recently underwent a medical with Los Blancos ahead of a move to the Bernabeu.
The stopper will see his Bilbao contract expire this summer, and it is understood that Real Madrid have agreed a deal in the region of £18m to sign the highly-rated goalkeeper.
Ziganda, however, is unsure whether his player has travelled to the capital.
"I have no idea if he did a medical, I don't know what to tell you," Ziganda told reporters.
"Kepa was at [the club's training ground] Lezama yesterday following his recovery programme along with [defender Mikel] Balenziaga. He didn't go to San Mames. I don't have any knowledge of a medical, no idea.
"He looks fine to me, he's the same as he always is, conversations are as normal and nothing has changed. The team is focused on Alaves.
"All the distractions from outside don't help, but in my case it's easy to ignore because these are external matters and the sooner they stop the better. When he has something to say, he'll say it."
Kepa has made 14 La Liga appearances for Bilbao this season, and is also expected to be a part of the Spain squad that travels to next summer's World Cup in Russia.
