Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will reportedly battle for the signature of Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi in this summer's transfer window.
Icardi, whose current contract with Inter will expire at the end of the 2020-21 campaign, has scored 15 times in 27 appearances in all competitions for his Italian club this season.
The 25-year-old has 122 goals in 209 games for Inter since arriving from Sampdoria in 2013, meanwhile, and has been strongly linked with a move away from San Siro over the last 12 months.
According to AS, both Atletico and Los Blancos want to sign the South American, which will spark a battle at the end of the current campaign.
Icardi was controversially left out of the Argentina squad for the 2018 World Cup and has only been capped on eight occasions by his country - scoring just once - despite his impressive goal record at club level.
