Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz.
The 28-year-old has earned plenty of plaudits on the international scene in recent times, helping Spain to Euro 2024 glory, beating England in the final in Berlin.
Alongside the likes of Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams and Rodri, Ruiz was a key performer for La Roja, netting in wins over Croatia and tournament debutants Georgia.
The midfielder continued his stellar summer form into the September international break, bagging a brace as Spain smashed Switzerland 4-1 in the UEFA Nations League.
Ruiz has also been among the goals in Ligue 1 for PSG, netting Les Parisiens' third in the victory over Champions League-bound Brest on Saturday evening.

According to Spanish publication SPORT, two La Liga heavyweights are interested in securing the services of PSG's Ruiz in the near future.
The report claims that both Real Madrid and Barcelona are sounding out moves for the Spaniard ahead of the January and summer windows in 2025.
It is understood that Carlo Ancelotti is a huge admirer of Ruiz, with the pair spending time together at Napoli over the past six years.
Despite their ongoing financial troubles, it is believed that Barca are in the hunt for the signature of the Euro 2024 winner, who has enjoyed a stellar 2024 to date.
As well as Ruiz, it is said that head coach Hansi Flick is targeting Bayern Munich duo Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich as potential incomings at Camp Nou.
Do Real Madrid, Barcelona need Ruiz?
With three years left on Ruiz's current deal at Parc des Princes, PSG are in a good position to drive a hard bargain for the services of the midfielder.
That being said, it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid and Barcelona submit concrete offers for the 28-year-old during the upcoming transfer windows.
Los Blancos are well stocked in engine-room areas, boasting talents such as Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Luka Modric.
As for Barca, Euro 2024 hero Dani Olmo recently made the switch from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig to bolster the midfield options at Camp Nou.
