Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale's agent has played down suggestions that he is currently negotiating a transfer away from the Bernabeu for his client.
The Wales international was strongly linked with a move away from the Spanish capital during the summer but ultimately remained with Zinedine Zidane's side.
Bale's long-term future at Madrid is far from secure, though, and the former Tottenham Hotspur left-back travelled to London on Monday to meet his representative amid the speculation surrounding his future.
However, Jonathan Barnett appeared to quell suggestions that his client was heading for China, while the 69-year-old also insisted that Bale is "ecstatic to play for Madrid".
"Gareth is ecstatic to play for Madrid. China? Don't believe everything you read," Barnett told Deportes Cuatro.
A number of Premier League clubs were also linked with summer moves for the 30-year-old, who has scored twice and contributed two assists in six La Liga appearances for Los Blancos this season.
