Gareth Bale is reportedly determined to spend the final two years of his contract at Real Madrid.
At a time when club officials are keen to reduce the team's wage bill, Bale has been linked with a transfer away from the Bernabeu.
However, there has remained an insistence from the Wales international's camp that he has little desire to force a move to another club, especially on a temporary basis.
According to AS, the 30-year-old is increasingly eager to stay at Real, motivated by spending time in isolation in Madrid.
Although Bale recently made a significant donation to hospitals in the city to aid the fight against coronavirus, it is said that this was a gesture, rather than the player reiterating his commitment to the club.
The attacker has contributed just two goals and two assists from 17 outings in La Liga and the Champions League this season.
