Gareth Bale has reportedly informed Real Madrid that he does not want to leave the club this summer.
The Wales international has managed 14 goals and seven assists in 30 appearances for Los Blancos this season, but the Welshman has struggled to hold down a regular spot under head coach Zinedine Zidane.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of the 28-year-old, while Bale's former club Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with a move.
The attacker was left on the bench for Madrid's Champions League quarter-final first leg against Juventus on Tuesday night, and Spanish journalist Guillem Balague recently claimed that Bale would be sold at the end of the season.
However, according to AS, the Welshman is intent on staying at the Bernabeu this summer, and will resist a move even if Los Blancos actively look to sell him.
Bale is contracted to the Spanish giants until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
