Barcelona have reportedly beaten Real Madrid in the race to sign Rayo Vallecano striker Fabian Luzzi.
The 16-year-old is yet to make his first-team debut for Vallecano but has trained with the club's senior side during the 2019-20 campaign due to his impressive form at youth level.
Madrid were said to be determined to sign the teenager ahead of next season, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Luzzi has chosen to join Barca ahead of Zinedine Zidane's side.
The report claims that the youngster is yet to officially sign a deal with the Catalan giants, although he has made it clear that he will reject offers from the Bernabeu to join the Spanish champions.
Luzzi, who is also thought to have attracted the attention of Atletico Madrid, has been capped on three occasions by Spain's Under-16 side.
Barca are due to resume their 2019-20 La Liga season with a trip to Mallorca on Saturday night, while Madrid are set to face Eibar on their return to action one day later.
