Barcelona have reportedly pulled out of their pursuit of Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, with arch-rivals Real Madrid the front-runners to sign the youngster.
Los Blancos have been monitoring the 17-year-old's progress for the past two years, seeing him develop into a vital player for the French side.
According to Marca, their dedication to sign the Frenchman has caused other European clubs to withdraw their interest, including Spanish champions Barcelona.
Camavinga's starting price is set to be around €60m (£52.4m), however Real Madrid are willing to observe how the current coronavirus pandemic will affect the summer window before making an offer.
Rennes will hope to secure his services for another season at least if they manage to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The young star's contract is set to expire in the summer of 2022.
