Cordoba president Carlos Gonzalez has revealed that he wants to bring Real Madrid youngster Alvaro Medran to the club on loan.
The 20-year-old, who has broken into the first-team set-up at the Bernabeu this season, spent three years in the Cordoba youth system from 2005 to 2008.
The midfielder has been a regular member of Real's first-team squad this season, but it is understood that Los Blancos are open to a loan move, should regular football be offered.
"The lad has played in the youth teams here at Cordoba. I'd be delighted to have him," Gonzalez told SER Deportivos.
Medran has one Spain Under-21 cap to his name.
