Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria has declared that the faith of new coach Carlo Ancelotti helped convince him that his future belongs at the Bernabeu.
Di Maria was linked with a whole host of clubs including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closed this week, primarily due to Real completing a protracted world-record deal for Gareth Bale.
The Argentine international believes that Ancelotti will give him plenty of first-team opportunities this season despite Bale's arrival, insisting that he is settled and happy with life in the Spanish capital.
He told FOX Sports Radio: "Yes, I'll just stay at Real. It's beautiful, isn't it?
"I feel at home and so do my family, so I look forward to the future here in a positive way."
The 25-year-old has featured in all four of Real's league games so far this season, taking his appearance tally with the Spanish giants to 140 since signing from Benfica in 2010.
