Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria has insisted that he will not be leaving the club.
The Argentine had been linked with a move away, potentially as part of a swap deal involving Tottenham Hotspur's Gareth Bale.
His coach Carlo Ancelotti also ruled out his departure this weekend, and now the player himself has said that he is happy in Spain.
"I'm staying at Madrid because I have three years left on my contract and I'm very happy here," he told reporters.
"Also, in [Ancelotti's] selection, I have been playing more frequently in the middle. I used to and I feel comfortable playing there."
Madrid beat Inter Milan 3-0 in a pre-season friendly yesterday.
