Real Madrid could reportedly turn to AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma due to Thibaut Courtois's troubles at the Bernabeu.
Courtois was criticised for a number of below-par performances during the 2018-19 campaign, while the Belgium international's form in the early stages of this season has also been questioned.
Los Blancos are believed to be interested in signing Jan Oblak as a replacement for their current number one, although the Slovenian has a £107m release clause in his contract.
According to reports in Spain, Madrid could switch their attention to Donnarumma as the 20-year-old would be much more of an affordable option for Zinedine Zidane's side.
The Italy international will see his current deal at San Siro expire in the summer of 2021, and it is understood that the youngster has turned down Milan's latest contract offer.
Donnarumma made his Serie A debut at the age of 16, while he also became the youngest goalkeeper to represent Italy when he turned out for the national team at 17 years and 189 days old.
