Borussia Dortmund are reportedly considering sending Reinier Jesus back to Real Madrid in the near future.

The 19-year-old joined Dortmund on a two-year loan deal in August 2020 and is due to remain with the German outfit until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Brazilian has largely struggled to make his mark at BVB, though, managing just one goal and one assist in 20 appearances for the club in all competitions.

According to Bild, Dortmund are currently monitoring Reinier's form and will consider sending the South American back to the Bernabeu earlier than expected if he continues to struggle.

The report claims that the Bundesliga outfit are desperate for the youngster to kick on, having been disappointed with his contribution since arriving from the Spanish capital.

Reinier, who moved to Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2020, has a contract with his parent club until June 2026. body check tags ::
