The agent of Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz has claimed that "very important clubs" have been in contact over a potential move for his client in this summer's transfer window.
Barcelona and Real Madrid continue to be credited with an interest in the Spain international, who joined Napoli from Real Betis in the summer of 2018.
Alvaro Torres has denied that there is a release clause in the midfielder's current deal but has hinted that his client could leave Naples ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
"There have been many changes in the club this season, it's been a difficult year for Napoli," Torres told Marca. "A renewal? We have set aside negotiations for a while, until the end of the season. There are very important clubs that have asked for information, and we have already informed Napoli.
"All these clubs believe that he is a midfielder who is going to be one of the players of the decade. There is no release clause in his current contract. I really don't know what Ruiz's value is at present. In the short term he is focused on Napoli and at the end we will see."
The 23-year-old, whose current deal runs until June 2023, has scored three times and provided two assists in 32 appearances for Gli Azzurri during the 2019-20 campaign.
