Real Madrid have reportedly received an offer of £84m from Guangzhou Evergrande for winger Gareth Bale.
The Welshman, who has played just seven times in La Liga this season due to a spate of injuries, is believed to be surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu.
According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, the Chinese Super League giants have made the sizeable offer in hope of securing what would be a huge transfer coup for the club and also for China's national league.
The report goes on to claim that Real president Florentino Perez is interested in the offer as it could help fund a future move for Paris Saint-German star Neymar.
However, Bale is believed to have dismissed the opportunity of joining Evergrande as he would deem the move a step back in his career, but reportedly remains open to a Premier League switch.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in the 28-year-old, who has won three Champions League trophies and a La Liga title with Los Blancos.
