The agent of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed that his client is "flattered" by rumours linking him with a move to Roma.
With the Blancos heavily linked with a move for Manchester United stopper David de Gea, it remains to be seen what kind of future the 34-year-old still has at the Bernabeu.
Speculation from Italy has mounted that the Giallorossi are keen on signing the Spain international, and his representative Carlo Cutropia did little to dissuade them from making a formal approach.
"Roma are a top team and Casillas is flattered by their interest," Cutropia told LaRoma24.it.
"Roma are one of the greatest clubs in Europe. We really love the city and the passion of their fans."
Casillas, a prominent member of the first team since 1999, is contracted to his boyhood club until 2018.
