Hoffenheim are said to be close to completing a deal to sign Real Madrid's Joselu.
The forward impressed last season for Los Blancos' reserve side Castilla, scoring 26 goals in 36 appearances.
His performances attracted interest from a number of clubs across Europe, with a whole host of Premier League clubs chasing the 22-year-old. West Ham were thought to be favourites, though it was claimed that they had a bid turned down.
The Bundesliga side also had an offer rejected earlier in the transfer window, with the Spanish champions holding out for more money.
Markus Babbel's side have now met Madrid's valuation, with the starlet travelling to the Rhein-Neckar-Arena to discuss personal terms.
The Spain Under-21s international, who was born in Stuttgart and attended school in Germany for four years, now looks poised to complete a move to the Hoffenheim.
Joselu joined Real Madrid from Celta Vigo in 2009.
