Kylian Mbappe's mother has denied that her son has reached an agreement to a contract extension with current club Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.
The Frenchman's future still remains up in the air as we approach the summer transfer window, with the forward's current deal in Paris due to expire in June.
Real Madrid are said to have made the 23-year-old their number one target for a free transfer move at the end of the season, but Mbappe is yet to decide where his future lies.
However, after Le Parisien reported on Thursday that the forward had agreed to a two-year extension at the Ligue 1 champions, Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamary, has told Spanish media outlet Marca that the reports are not true.
When asked about the rumours regarding a renewal with PSG, Mbappe's mother told Marca: "It is completely false that Kylian has renewed."
Los Blancos remain confident that they have convinced Mbappe to move to the Bernabeu ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, despite continued rumours that the former Monaco man may yet decide to stay in the French capital after all.
In 32 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season, Mbappe has scored 24 goals and registered 15 assists, and also recorded six goals and four assists in eight Champions League appearances before PSG were knocked out by Real in March.
