Bayer Leverkusen have landed Real Madrid right-back Daniel Carvajal for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old, who won the Under-19 European Championships with Spain last year, will sign a five-year deal at the BayArena.
Carvajal comes highly recommended by Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho, according to Leverkusen's CEO Wolfgang Holzhauser.
"We have managed to strengthen ourselves in the position of right-back with this transfer," said Holzhauser. "Daniel Carvajal is already an outstanding player but still has immense potential due to his young age.
"Mourinho recommended Carvajal highly. He thinks a lot of the boy, but also said that he could continue to perform at another club.
"In real terms, he's behind Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Arbeloa. With us, he can continue to perform."
Carvajal joined Real's youth ranks in 2002.
