Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza has insisted that he is not interested whether Gareth Bale makes his Real Madrid debut against the Yellow Submarine on September 14.
Bale, who completed his move to the Spanish capital from Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, will be in line to make first appearance for the club against the newly-promoted side after the international break.
"It's something that does not interest me much. My concern is not Bale, nor his signing, but Villarreal. On this, I do not care. If they have signed Bale, that's fine, if they hadn't, that would have been fine too," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I just care about Villarreal and what happens to our team. The rest is a matter for each club and I do not judge anyone. David Beckham also played his first game for Madrid at Villarreal, but that is simply anecdotal."
Like Madrid, Villarreal have also won each of their three league matches this season.
