Paris Saint-Germain loanee Mauro Icardi is reportedly desperate to return to Italy and join Juventus or Napoli this summer.
The 27-year-old joined the French champions on a season-long deal from Inter Milan in September and initially shone at the Parc des Princes, scoring nine goals in his first 11 Ligue 1 outings.
However, he has played a full 90 minutes just once since Christmas and has only scored three goals in his last nine league outings after returns to fitness for Edinson Cavani, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar knocked him down the pecking order.
PSG have an option to make the move permanent for €70m (£60.4m) this summer, but Calciomercato reports that he wants to return to Serie A rather than staying in the French capital.
The report claims that Juventus are Icardi's preferred destination, but that he would also consider a move to Napoli or a return to Inter Milan, despite manager Antonio Conte insisting that the former club captain is not part of his plans.
Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the Argentina international, whose contract at San Siro runs until 2022.
