Real Madrid will reportedly focus on signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland after Kylian Mbappe hinted that he is ready to commit to Paris Saint-Germain.
The France international is believed to have been placed at the top of Los Blancos' transfer wishlist ahead of the summer window.
Mbappe has 18 months to run on his PSG contract, potentially forcing the French giants to cash in at the end of the season or risk losing their star striker for free.
However, the World Cup winner reiterated last week that he is "very happy" at the Parc des Princes and he is now expected to agree fresh terms on a long-term deal.
According to a report carried by the Daily Express, Madrid will instead prioritise signing Dortmund ace Haaland.
Norway international Haaland is rumoured to have a €75m (£66.59m) release clause in his contract, although that does not kick in for another 12 months.
