Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has reportedly urged Real Madrid to let him know whether they still hope to sign him this summer.
The 20-year-old is understood to be a dream transfer target for Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, while a move to the Bernabeu also appeals to the France international.
PSG are unwilling to lose a player who has arguably surpassed Neymar as the team's talisman over the past two seasons, scoring 39 goals in just 43 appearances last term.
However, Mbappe has reportedly told the French champions that he has no intention of extending his current contract at the Parc des Princes before it expires in 2022.
Reports in Spain claim Mbappe has concerns that the quality of the French league might hinder his development, while he also doubts whether he will be able to win the Champions League at PSG.
The youngster would be open to a move to Real Madrid this summer and has reportedly already phoned Florentino Perez to ask his transfer plans, although it is more likely that the Spanish giants will have to wait until next year.
Mbappe is willing to put pressure on PSG to leave should Madrid make their desire to sign him this summer clear, but he would prefer to know sooner rather than later if that is the case.
