MK Dons have signed former Real Madrid Castilla captain Sergio Aguza on a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
The 22-year-old made 46 appearances for Real Madrid's reserve team, and was named on the first-team bench by Carlo Ancelotti on two occasions last season.
MK Dons manager Karl Robinson told the club's website: "I've seen Sergio play a number of times and he's an exceptionally talented player. He's very dynamic in his movements and his ball retention as well.
"He was captain of Real Madrid Castilla so he'll bring tremendous strength to us. He's someone who will really add to the group and he might be able to give us something we've never had before."
The midfielder is Robinson's second signing from Castilla this summer, following Cristian Benavente to Stadium MK.
