Paris Saint-Germain reportedly have serious concerns over their ability to maintain Kylian Mbappe's new contract.
The 23-year-old was expected to move to Real Madrid in the summer but decided to stay, signing a new contract worth £650,000-per-week after intervention from French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Daily Mail reports that the club will struggle to add new recruits as the deal has taken up a quarter of the club's budget, with suggestions that the Frenchman is set to earn £549m over the next three years.
The contract reportedly includes a £156m signing bonus payable over three years and a £61m loyalty bonus that will increase yearly, although PSG have denied those claims.
There is also an option for a two-year extension, which can only be triggered by Mbappe himself.
However, the Frenchman, who has scored 164 goals in 177 games for PSG, is reportedly looking for a January exit as he is feeling unhappy with the club's owners. body check tags ::
