Sergio Ramos is looking to end his playing career at Real Madrid, according to his brother and agent Rene Ramos.
While the legendary defender is close to reaching 15 years at Los Blancos, the 33-year-old only has 12 months left on his contract.
However, despite suggestions that the La Liga giants are open to parting ways with the long-serving Spaniard, his representative has suggested that he is looking to pen fresh terms in the near future.
Speaking to Onda Cero, Rene said: "The chewing gum will be stretched as long as we can. Playing at the New Bernabeu would be the perfect retirement for him.
"Physically, he's fine and he's climbing the walls."
Ramos is expected to be named in the starting lineup when Real return to La Liga action with a game against Eibar on June 14.
