Real Madrid reportedly have concerns when it comes to the future of Morocco international Achraf Hakimi.
The 21-year-old has spent each of the last two seasons on loan with Borussia Dortmund, making 65 appearances for the German giants in all competitions.
Hakimi is enjoying another impressive campaign with BVB, scoring seven times and registering 10 assists in 37 appearances.
As it stands, the defender is due to return to the Bernabeu this summer, but there is no obvious route into the first XI at Madrid due to the presence of Dani Carvajal.
According to AS, Los Blancos have been impressed by Hakimi's development but are not currently able to offer him a regular spot at right-back.
The report claims that Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane could attempt to convince the Moroccan that he will be an important player next season despite Carvajal's presence, although there is a chance that he could leave the Bernabeu on a permanent deal amid interest from the Premier League and Serie A.
Hakimi's current deal with Los Blancos will expire in the summer of 2021.
