Real Madrid are reportedly in pole position to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland thanks to some help from fellow Norwegian Martin Odegaard.
Los Blancos are believed to be desperate to sign the 19-year-old in the summer after missing out on his signature to Dortmund in January.
Haaland has struck 12 times in 11 appearances for the German club to further boost his reputation as arguably the finest young striker in world football.
Manchester United and Barcelona have also been tipped to move for the ex-Red Bull Salzburg ace later this year, but AS suggests that Madrid are at the front of the queue.
The La Liga giants are said to be using Odegaard to persuade his international teammate to make the move to the Bernabeu.
Odegaard joined Madrid in 2015 but has spent the past three seasons out on loan, with his most recent spell coming at Real Sociedad.
