Real Madrid have reportedly considered an approach for Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
The 20-year-old, who is the son of 142-capped Frenchman Lilian Thuram and the brother of Borussia Monchengladbach winger Marcus Thuram, has caught eyes with his performances in Ligue 1 this season, triggering links to Europe's top sides.
According to Fichajes, the midfielder has now attracted the attention of Los Blancos, who are said to be keen to strengthen their midfield ranks given the ageing of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
After signing French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes last summer, the Madrid outfit were linked with a move for Monaco prospect Aurelien Tchouameni, but, with that deal reportedly stalling, they have now switched their attention to a different young midfielder operating in Ligue 1.
Such a move would see Thuram join up with compatriot Camavinga, who has 23 appearances for Los Blancos after featuring 88 times for Rennes despite his tender age of 19 years old.
The midfielder has turned out 24 times in Ligue 1 for Nice so far this season, registering three goals and two assists and taking his tally to 76 appearances for the club. body check tags ::
