Real Madrid want to sit down with Vinicius Junior to discuss a new deal in the coming months, according to a report.

Real Madrid will reportedly discuss a new contract with Vinicius Junior "in the next months", with the Spanish giants viewing him as "untouchable" at the club.

The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring nine goals and registering five assists in 14 appearances in all competitions.

Vinicius still has four years left to run on his contract at the Bernabeu, but a recent report claimed that the Brazilian is one of the five lowest-paid players at the club despite his importance to the team.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are preparing to hold discussions with the attacker over a new deal, with the club determined to secure his future.

Vinicius, who is thought to earn around €4m (£3.4m) a season at this moment in time, scored twice against Elche on Saturday afternoon, as Carlo Ancelotti's side ran out 2-1 winners in the La Liga affair.

The South American has scored 23 goals and registered 28 assists in 132 appearances for Real Madrid since making the move from Flamengo in July 2018. body check tags ::
