Real Madrid are reportedly still keen on landing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic this summer but will refuse to pay over the odds for the Serbia international.
Frankfurt recently completed the signing of the 21-year-old on a permanent deal, having had him on loan from Benfica for the last two seasons.
Jovic ended the 2018-19 campaign with 27 goals in 48 appearances for his German club, who had seemingly always planned on selling the attacker to the highest bidder this summer.
According to AS, despite recent reports, Madrid are yet to complete a deal for Jovic as Frankfurt have raised the asking price from £53m to £88m due to Paris Saint-Germain's interest.
The report has also claimed that Barcelona and Bayern Munich were both interested in a summer deal but the two teams have since withdrawn their interest.
The four-time Serbia international scored 10 times during Die Adler's run to the semi-finals of this season's Europa League.
