Real Madrid reportedly scouted Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz during Friday night's clash with Brescia.
The Spain international was on the scoresheet for his Italian club as they recorded a 2-1 victory at Stadio Mario Rigamonti.
According to AS, Madrid had scouts in attendance to watch the 23-year-old as they weigh up a bid when this summer's transfer window opens for business.
The report claims that talks between Napoli and Ruiz over a new deal have stalled in recent weeks, and Los Blancos are considering launching an €80m (£67m) bid ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
The midfielder, who has also been linked with Barcelona and Liverpool, has contributed three goals and two assists in 30 appearances for Gli Azzurri during the current season.
Zinedine Zidane's side are also reportedly planning to move for Rennes youngster Eduardo Camavinga during this summer's transfer window.
