Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and Sergio Ramos will reportedly both publicly speak about the club captain's future at the start of next week.
Ramos's existing deal at the Bernabeu expires next summer, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent days, with MLS outfit Inter Miami said to be interested.
Madrid are allegedly preparing to offer the 34-year-old a two-year contract, though, with the Spaniard still an inspirational figure for Zinedine Zidane's side.
According to AS, both Perez and Ramos will speak publicly on the situation on Monday, where it is thought that a new deal for the defender will be announced.
The former Sevilla youngster has scored an incredible 100 goals in 660 appearances for Los Blancos, including 11 in 35 La Liga outings during the 2019-20 campaign.
The 176-time Spain international is fourth on the all-time appearance list for Madrid, meanwhile, with only Manuel Sanchis, Iker Casillas and Raul representing the capital giants on more occasions.
