Real Madrid have reportedly decided that they are prepared to offer an improved deal to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Over the past six months, Ronaldo has been linked with an exit from the Bernabeu, despite still having three years remaining on his contract.
Reports have also claimed that the 33-year-old is unhappy at the La Liga giants, but according to AS, Real are in the process of trying to improve Ronaldo's mood at the club.
While Real do not intend to extend the player's deal, plans are allegedly in place to increase Ronaldo's salary from €21m (£18.46m) a year to €30m (£26.38m).
Ronaldo endured a frustrating start to the campaign but the attacker has still scored 41 goals in all competitions.
