Real Madrid have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey as a target for one of the upcoming transfer windows.
While the 26-year-old has not always been regarded as first choice at Atletico, the Ghanaian's performance in a goalless draw against Real on Saturday night caught the eye.
According to reports in Spain, Zinedine Zidane was left hugely impressed, leaving the Los Blancos manager to consider an offer in January or next summer.
However, Atletico are unlikely to be interested in parting ways with the versatile player, especially after such a display against their biggest rivals.
Partey also has just under four years remaining on his contract, putting Atletico in a strong position to shun any bids which may be received in the future.
