Real Madrid are weighing up whether to bring striker Raul de Tomas back to the club for next season, according to a report.
The 24-year-old has spent the past two years on loan with Rayo Vallecano, scoring 13 goals this season in La Liga after netting nearly double that number in 2017-18 to guide Rayo out of the second tier.
Karim Benzema is the only Madrid player to have scored more often than De Tomas this term, and it is claimed by AS that Zinedine Zidane wants the Castilla product to offer back-up for Benzema from the start of next season.
Zidane has previously worked with De Tomas in Los Blancos' B team, but he failed to make the grade at the Bernabeu and has yet to make a senior league appearances.
Despite being in need of a huge facelift ahead of 2019-20, a separate report indicates that Zidane will not move for a new forward during the summer window.
