Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a £10m bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The Czech Republic stopper has long been regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in European football, but his place at Stamford Bridge is now under threat by Thibaut Courtois.
Madrid, meanwhile, are expected to be in the market for a new stopper this season with Diego Lopez heading for AC Milan and Iker Casillas also linked with a departure.
According to The Express, Los Blancos want Cech to provide competition to Keylor Navas, who arrived from Levante this summer.
Courtois is expected to be Chelsea's number one for the coming season.
