Marcelo has asked for an end-of-season exit from Real Madrid as he wants to begin a fresh challenge with Juventus, according to a report.
The long-serving defender has been phased out by Santiago Solari, playing second fiddle to up-and-coming left-back Sergio Reguilon over the past couple of months.
Rumours have been gathering for a number of weeks that Marcelo could be on his way out of the Bernabeu after more than 12 years at the club, with Juventus ready to make a move.
Telemadrid indicates that the Brazilian, valued at around £60m, has now communicated his intention to swap clubs at the end of the season.
Marcelo is said to be fond of the project being put together by Juventus and is keen on a move, but the Bianconeri may first have to assess the situation of Alex Sandro, who is on the radar of a number of clubs.
