Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly been unimpressed by Luka Modric's form and he will now consider selling the midfielder.
The reigning Ballon d'Or holder was absent for Madrid's 3-2 win against Villarreal on Sunday amid rumours of a falling out with his manager.
Spanish outlet AS suggests that Zidane has lost patience with Modric for a number of below-par showings since he was reappointed as Madrid boss in early March.
There are fears behind the scenes at the Bernabeu, the report claims, that the 33-year-old has already reached his peak and will not be able to recapture his best form.
Madrid blocked Modric's move to Inter Milan last summer, but they are now apparently more open to discussing a deal with the Italian side.
