Cristiano Ronaldo has opened talks with Real Madrid over a new contract, according to reports in Spain.
The three-time Ballon d'Or winner has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent months.
Transfer speculation intensified earlier this week when it was claimed that the 31-year-old had met with representatives of Paris Saint-Germain.
However, according to El Confidencial, Real president Florentino Perez is prepared to offer Ronaldo a two-year contract extension, but will not allow the current deal to run its course.
The attacker, who has scored 47 goals in 43 appearances this season, joined Madrid from Manchester United for a then-world record fee of £80m in 2009.
