Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua have reportedly revived their interest in signing Gareth Bale from Real Madrid ahead of next summer's transfer window.
The Welshman, who has a strained relationship with Real boss Zinedine Zidane, came moments away from completing a move to Jiangsu Suning over the summer, only for the deal to collapse at the eleventh hour.
Following his omission from the squad ahead of the club's 2-2 draw with Club Brugge, Bale has resolved to find an exit from the Bernabeu in the near future.
According to Marca, Bale's situation in Madrid has once again attracted interest from China, with Shanghai reigniting their interest having made a bid for the 30-year-old in July.
Due to Bale's age and yearly salary of £14.7m, it is likely that the Chinese Super League will have to be his next destination.
Reports have claimed that Bale met with his agent Jonathan Barnett in London this week to hold talks over his future.
