Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva has backed his side's pursuit of Porto defender Danilo.
The full-back is widely expected to depart Portuguese football this summer, with Real Madrid believed to lead the race for the defender.
Silva has thrown his weight behind Los Blancos' pursuit of the 23-year-old, branding his fellow Brazilian "a very good player".
"He's a very good player, a right-back who likes to get forward who is also good in defence, and his signing would be good for the club," Silva told reporters.
Silva moved to the Bernabeu from Cruzeiro in January and has impressed during the early stages of his career in Spain.
