RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner has said that while "it is a pleasure" to be linked with Real Madrid, the German international is currently fully focused on his Bundesliga club.
Earlier this week, it was claimed that Real Madrid were keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, who has scored 25 times in 37 appearances for Leipzig since joining the club from Stuttgart in the summer of 2016.
Werner has revealed that he is honoured to be mentioned in the same breath as the Spanish and European champions, although the striker is "not thinking" about a move away from Leipzig as things stand.
"Of course it is a pleasure to read that Real Madrid are interested," Werner told Sport Bild. "It would be a mistake to say that I am not interested, but I'm not thinking of Real Madrid or any other big club, other than RB Leipzig."
Werner has also found the back of the net on six occasions in eight appearances for the German national team.
