Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Jesse Lingard to Portland Timbers, Nacho to AC Milan and a Fulham contract renewal for Tosin Adarabioyo.

The agents of Jesse Lingard have reportedly been in touch with MLS outfit Portland Timbers to gauge their interest in a possible deal.

The 31-year-old is still without a new stomping ground following his summer departure from Nottingham Forest and recently parted ways with his previous representatives amid his failure to obtain offers.

Links with Barcelona and Saudi Arabia have led to nowhere for the ex-Manchester United man, and former loan club West Ham United have reportedly ruled out taking him back despite their attacking crisis.

According to the Daily Mail, Lingard's new representatives are now exploring opportunities in the USA for the playmaker, and Portland Timbers are said to have been one of the teams informed of the situation.

The report states that MLS teams do hold an interest in offering Lingard the chance to resurrect his career, but the former England international still remains without an official contract offer.

During his time in the Premier League, Lingard registered 29 goals and 17 assists from 182 matches, but he went 17 games without a direct contribution while on the books at Forest last term.

While Lingard has struggled to earn a professional contract in recent months, Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly in line for a renewal at Craven Cottage.

The ex-Manchester City youngster is in the final six months of his existing deal with Marco Silva's side, leaving him free to open talks with foreign clubs over a pre-contract agreement.

Adarabioyo has long-been linked with a move to a Champions League-chasing club, with Tottenham Hotspur heavily tipped to make a move over the summer, and it was claimed last month that he planned to run down his Fulham deal.

The Evening Standard reports that Adarabioyo has already turned down one renewal offer from Fulham, but the Cottagers will now come back with fresh terms, including an improved salary.

There is no guarantee that Adarabioyo will prolong his stay at Craven Cottage, though, and both AC Milan and Napoli are said to be interested in pre-contract talks with the 26-year-old.

Adarabioyo has amassed four goals and two assists from 119 games in a Fulham jersey since joining in 2020, and since recovering from groin surgery, he has started each of their last seven Premier League matches.

Should Milan fail in their attempts to prise Adarabioyo away from Craven Cottage, the Rossoneri could apparently turn their attention to Real Madrid's Nacho instead.

The 33-year-old - who has served as captain of Los Blancos since the exit of Karim Benzema over the summer - is also due to become a free agent once the 2023-24 season is done and dusted.

It is unclear whether Real intend to offer Nacho a new contract, having extended his deal by 12 months last year, but the Spanish giants would only sanction another short-term renewal either way.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Real are yet to present Nacho with a firm renewal offer, and unless his current club have a change of heart, the Spaniard could test the waters in Serie A with Milan.

Milan boss Stefano Pioli has supposedly identified Nacho as a priority signing given his wealth of experience, and capturing the defender as a free agent is also an attractive prospect.

Nacho has made 340 appearances for Los Blancos during his glittering spell at Bernabeu, but he has made the starting lineup on just five occasions in the 2023-24 La Liga season.

Sticking with the theme of defenders on the move, Marseille left-back Renan Lodi is believed to be on the cusp of joining Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal.

The 25-year-old only joined Les Olympiens from Atletico Madrid in the summer and has been a regular fixture in the starting lineup, registering one assist in 23 matches.

However, after being taken off at half time in an unconvincing 1-0 win over Thionville Lusitanos in the Coupe de France, Lodi was an unused substitute in last Friday's 1-1 draw with Strasbourg.

Lodi is under contract at the Stade Velodrome for another four-and-a-half years, but according to Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian is on his way out after just one half-season.

Romano claims that an agreement has been reached with Al-Hilal over a €20m (£17.2m) deal, and he will join on an initial loan deal before his move is made permanent in the summer.

Lodi has supposedly given the green light to a three-and-a-half year deal with Al-Hilal, where he will link up with Kalidou Koulibaly, Neymar, Ruben Neves, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Aleksandar Mitrovic. body check tags ::
