Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel has insisted that the reigning Ligue 1 champions will not allow Neymar to leave unless they can sign a replacement.
Brazil forward Neymar has been strongly linked with a return to Spain, with former club Barcelona keenly interested and the Blaugrana's arch-rivals Real Madrid also thought to be in the running.
PSG fans have voiced their displeasure at the Brazilian's attempts to force his way out of France and an exit appears increasingly likely for the forward.
However, Tuchel is not keen to allow one of his star names to leave and insists that, if he is to be sold, then a replacement must be signed.
"He will not leave without recruitment, it is not possible," Tuchel said at a post-match press conference following PSG's shock 2-1 defeat to Rennes.
"It's clear - if he stays, we will have a player who will help us win."
Neymar netted 23 goals and registered a further 13 assists from just 28 appearances in all competitions last season as PSG won the Ligue 1 title but fell short in the Champions League and both domestic cups.
