Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior has insisted that Kylian Mbappe will join him at the Spanish side in the near future.
The 20-year-old was one of the most sought-after players in the world in 2017, with most of the top clubs interested in his signature, but ultimately Paris Saint-Germain won the race to sign him for a fee of £166m.
In the two seasons since, the Frenchman has an impressive record of 46 goals in 56 Ligue 1 appearances and has been part of a side that has won back-to-back league titles as well as the French Cup and French League Cup.
Rumours persist over Los Blancos' pursuit of the forward, however, with the most recent report suggesting that they are planning to sign him in summer 2020.
"The future of Mbappe is at Real Madrid. In a short time, I think he will come," Vinicius told Telefoot. "Of course I know that all Real Madrid fans dream of Mbappe. Not just Madrid, but fans of all teams.
"We really do not know each other, but we talk to each other on Instagram and send messages. I admire him a lot, he has already won many titles and it would be very good if he comes here."
Mbappe has also previously been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City.
