Real Madrid's Cristian Benavente is edging closer to a move to the Premier League with West Bromwich Albion, according to reports.
The 21-year-old is a product of Real's youth system having been with the club since the age of eight, though he has never made a senior appearance for Los Blancos.
The Baggies are ready to complete the £3.6m signing of Benavente on a three-year deal, which includes an option for the Spanish giants to buy the player back, reports Marca.
Benavente was born in Spain, but represents Peru and has won eight caps for the South American nation. However, he was not selected in the country's squad for this summer's Copa America.
