Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has refused to rule out a potential return for Cristiano Ronaldo, with the attacker's Juventus future currently being called into question.

The 36-year-old's existing deal in Turin is due to expire at the end of next season, and Juve director Fabio Paratici has revealed that the club are not currently looking at extending his contract.

Ronaldo scored 450 goals in 438 appearances for Madrid between 2009 and 2018, winning two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns before a move to the Old Lady.

The Portugal international is currently being linked with a return to the Bernabeu, and Zidane refused to rule out a move for the experienced forward when questioned on his future.

"You know what he is, what he has done and how much love we have for him. He made history here, he's magnificent. Now, he is a Juve player and I cannot tell you anything about what they (media) are saying. He's a Juve player and I have to respect these things," Zidane told reporters.

Ronaldo has also been in impressive scoring form for his current club, netting 92 times in 121 appearances, including 27 goals in 32 outings during the 2020-21 campaign. body check tags ::
