Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has insisted that Jagoba Arrasate's position as manager of the Basque outfit is not in doubt.
Sociedad have taken just five points from their seven La Liga games this season, with that total leaving them in 15th position in the table.
Aperribay has acknowledged that improvement is needed, but has refused to blame his manager for the club's poor form this season.
"Having five points isn't nice and we shouldn't be in this position," he told Mundo Deportivo.
"This is a war we have to turn up for. We have to improve. It's not a problem of not trusting the coach. We have absolute confidence in him. There are lots of things that can be done and must be improved.
"We'll talk to those involved to improve the situation of the team. We will analyse and discuss things with the coach, the sporting director and the players."
Sociedad lost 2-0 to Espanyol at the weekend.
